BI Engineer/SQL Developer (Ref#: 17876)
12 - 18 Months Contract
San Jose, CA (Remote to start with, onsite from September)
Client Name: Nutanix
Rate: $70/hr on C2C or $65/hr on W2
Job Description
Partner with accounting business users and develop SQL solutions for a variety of different requests.
Evaluate business requirements, conduct a POC and proactively call out data anomalies within the source system.
Perform end-to-end data validation for a solution ensuring quality data delivery.
Performance tune complex SQL queries and provide an optimal solution.
Requirements:
Must have at least 7 years of experience with Database Development using Packages/Stored Procedures/Triggers in SQL and PLSQL.
Good understanding of Data modeling and database design.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with performance tuning of complex SQL queries/packages.
Ability to develop, test, and deploy custom solutions or new functionality based on evolving business needs.
Ability to work on ad-hoc requests and should be able to work on simultaneous projects or tasks.
Effective and positive communication and skilled in working with cross functional teams.
Past work experience with finance and accounting terminologies / familiarity in partnering with those business teams is a big plus.
Experience working with NetSuite data objects
