Job Description:

Experience :    4-6 years of experience in Data warehousing/BI projects on Microsoft Platform.
Should have strong hands-on experience in, SQL Server Analytic Services (SSAS) and Tabular models.


Job Description :
- Development experience in BI tool MS Power BI, SSRS and SSAS
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS),  SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Should have advanced DAX knowledge and performance tuning of Tabular models.
- Should have handled dynamic partitioning in Tabular models.
- Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
- Understands different data models like normalized, de-normalized, star and snowflake models.
- Exposure to Azure (good to have)
Responsibilities
-Translate business needs to technical specifications
-Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
-Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
-Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
-Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
-Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
-Develop and update technical documentation
(1.)  To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
(2.)  To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their  technical  capabilities and increasing productivity
(3.)  To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
(4.)  To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards
