Broad Abilities & Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience with SQL Server
o Ability to execute queries within SQL Server Management Studio
o Ability to run SSIS packages (not create or alter existing ones)
- At least 2 years of experience with Excel
o Ability to export/import data to Excel
- Organized & prompt in responses to emails & instant messages during our core business hours of 9a – 5p Eastern time
- Ideally 1 year of experience with Python
- Potentially open to non-local resources if they can cover our core business hours
Essential Tasks:
- Within an hour of receiving files for data loads runs them thru appropriate SSIS packages, SQL Agent jobs, and/or Python scripts
- Notifies our core team of developers if there are issues with loading a data file so that core developers can troubleshoot
- Keeps track of schedule of file loads each day & week so that we know what customers are missing data feeds & can quickly escalate.
- Monitors our core two Tableau reports for sales & share for missing or erroneous data
