Position: Azure Data Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1.       Coordinate with clients, data users and key stakeholders and develop and achieve various long term objectives for Azure data platform management architecture.

2.       Design short term resolutions to achieve all goals and prepare data roadmap for management using the following tools Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Power BI, Azure devOps.

3.       Determine procedure to identify and collect all required data, validate processes and recommend improvements to enterprise data.

4.       Oversee and monitor Azure frameworks/mechanisms to manage data across organization.

5.       Design and provide support to leading data management methodologies according to required standards.

6.       Monitor and identify appropriate Azure components/tools and systems to achieve data technology goals.

7.       Design data mapping/migration/movement of all data sources and movement and analyze it to ensure appropriate quality of all data including error handling, slowly changing dimensions, data modeling, reporting and BI

8.       Coordinate with project/customer leads and business heads and manages all projects regarding enterprise data.

9.       Develop key metrics for tests on data and ensure integrity of same on data architecture.

10.   Prepare documents for data architecture and maintain knowledge base.

11.   Analyze information flow and recommend appropriate technology to provide support to all business processes

Qualification:

·         Min. 10-12 years of IT experience with a solid understanding of Azure platform/data tools such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Power BI, DevOps

·         Should have good knowledge on data architecture and design and implementation experience

·         Minimum 3-4 implementation experience as data architect lead using Azure data platform tools

·         Experience with systems development life cycle and structured programming methods (both traditional and agile), development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance.

·         Exposure to performance measurement, continuous improvement

·         Comfortable challenging the status quo and with proposing new concepts.
