I am Nitin working as Technical Recruiter with US-TECH Solutions Inc. I would like to check your availability and interest for below positions..
SSIS Developer---------- Charlotte, NC---------- 12+ months Contract
Required Knowledge and Skills Experience:
SSIS Developer and be comfortable with working with users and data architects, as well as able to guide the SSIS developers through the pitfalls of any complex project. Ability to present more than just an individual SSIS package, but a group of packages formed into a holistic application that meets both the data needs of the data architects and the business needs of users. Ability to work through/document/navigate SDLC processes through complex projects. On a day-to-day basis this person will conduct data analysis, develop ETL and data mapping, and creating specs that will be turned over to the ETL developer. This person would help ensure that the project would come together smoothly and coordinate system testing.
In addition to these senior level activities the candidate will be hands on with:
1) Design ETLs
2) Review/test ETL code written by other's for critical feedback
3) Develop the difficult ETLs that non-lead developers would have difficulty with
4) Possess and demonstrate "Critical Thinking” Knowing when it is appropriate to ask why something is being done a certain way or finding creative solutions.
MS SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012
SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
Erwin
Communication skills
Documenting ETL SDLC artifacts
Strong SQL Server knowledge in 2005 and 2008
Requirement gathering and developing technical specs
Experience in serving as a lead role in solution deliverables as they relate to ETL
