Advanced MSBI ETL SSIS        Real Case 经验传授

Online class will start on 04/20, 04/27, 05/04
Three 3 hour class sessions, total 9 hours.

Details will coming soon.

Contents: (this is a temporary plan. It could be modified in the near future)
1. File - Handling and Processing Methods(real case)
2. Dimension table ETL&. Fact table ETL (tech.)[including batch loading and incremental loading)
3. ETL for data warehouse development (real case)------ the core part.
4. Supplemental topics (data cleansing fuzz lookup, raw file, ssis config&deploy ETL testing/performance tuning, service broker and etc. all depend on the time)

The targets of teaching this Advanced SSIS.
 
1. know about real-world database/SSIS
2. gain real hands-on experience.
3. have more confidence in interview or become less nervous on your first day( for those people got offer).
 
To achieve the above targets, some complicated projects will be designed and some complex scripts will be required to write. No standard instructions/answers will be provided before class discussion.
 
Pre-request: MSBI course.

Class material will send to you after you register.
This is a advanced course, your manager has tasks assign to you to do before the class start.

It is exactly what I need. Will it be possible the class can start earlier so I can be more prepared for the job?

Also, is it possible to arrange advanced SSAS class?

Here I want to thank all the teachers for this Advanced MSBI ETL & SSIS course. I learned a lot from you all. Thank you all for demonstrating these wonderful ETL projects for me to know what real cases are. I am still studying and cracking your projects. There are so many skills I need to master and practice.

Wei ShiXiong, thank you for introducing me the business environment and your experience with database and ETL. I used some of your stories in my interview which really helped me a lot to have a good conversation with the interviewers.

Min ShiJie, Lucky ShiJie, and Lina ShiJie, thank you all for the wonderful course on last Saturday. You were so patient with me and answered all my naive questions. Amanda ShiJie opened my eyes on ETL and You inspired me how to develop whole packages from end-to-end.

This course is so short. I wish I can have more chances to learn from you. Through this class, I realize my core issue is:

How to interpret the business requirements of these ETL projects, how to translate those requirements to technique specifications, and then how to match these technique specifications with all these tasks and tools offered by SSIS. I would truly appreciate if you all and other ShiJie ShiXiong can share your experience on this issue.
