Job Description
Technical/Functional Skills
Must Have:
1. Extensive experience in Architecting ETL Solutions including Design and Development using SSIS/SSRS along with hands on experience for E2E solution architecture
2. Expertise in writing, understanding and updating complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures
3. Minimum 10+ years of working experience in SSIS/SSRS
4. Mentoring and guiding team on delivering quality and performance driven ETL solution
5. Exhaustive knowledge in Windows Batch Scripting and Unix shell scripting
6. Thorough Understanding and implementation of DW principles (Fact, Dimension tables, Dimensional Modelling and Data warehousing concepts)
7. Extensive working experience with different Data Source/Targets various file types (e.g., HL7, flat files) along with Oracle, SQL Server, BigQuery Databases
8. Expertise in detailed understanding of business requirement and representing in a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Good to Have:
1. Research, development, document, and modification of ETL processes as per data architecture and modeling requirements
2. Hands on expertise to Evaluate, selects, tests, and optimizes ETL processes for optimal data availability and quality
3. Ensure appropriate documentation for all new development and modifications of the ETL processes and jobs
4. Analytical skill to understand the business view of data and capability to represent it in technical terms
5. Data migration experience from SQL Server to Oracle/ BigQuery
6. Agile/Scrum methodology experience
7. Healthcare domain experience
8. Good communication and analytical skills
9. Offshore/Onshore co-ordination
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Participate in project planning, scoping, and estimating associated with enhancements to database platforms
2. Architect ETL Driven solution and guide to team for E2E implementation
3. Exhaustive knowledge in Windows Batch Scripting and Unix Shell Scripting
4. Implementation of DW principles (Fact, Dimension tables, Dimensional Modelling and Data warehousing concepts)
5. Manage build phase and quality assure code to fulfill requirements and adhere to ETL Architecture
6. Work with different Data Source/Targets various file types (e.g. HL7, Flat Files) along with, Oracle, SQL Server, BigQuery Databases
7. Excellence in writing complex SQLs and Store Procedures in DW environment
8. Research, development, document, and modification of ETL processes as per data architecture and modeling requirements
9. Ensure appropriate documentation for all new development and modifications of the ETL processes and jobs
10. Coordinate with enterprise architects and information architects to ensure new technologies align to roadmaps and to understand the impact on the organization’s information strategies
11. Ensure the quality and performance of the delivered solution considering the data type and volume
12. Offshore/Onshore co-ordination
