Thank you John for your interest in this class.
I recently started a new job. I joined at a time of crisis. Our team of 20+ had a project this was over due for several weeks.
I helped them resolve a performance issue in a pretty easy way, and helped them remove a a major road blocker. Now the project
is almost completed, and they are asking me to sit in every major meeting, with top management. How good can that be!
I am surprised at myself can 打开局面in such a short time at a new company.
I would like to share my story in more detail in my class.

我是core package 的新学员, just started SQL class，want to know what's the pre-request for this class? Should I finish SQL and oracle from core package first.

Oracle 11g SQL class is the pre-request for Oracle PL/SQL class.
(Sorry for the confusing, previous old reply was talking about Hadoop Big Data class. It was deleted.)

Thanks for your reply, Chris. I do remember you are a such expert of SQL, we need learn from you a lot.
I recently cross join another group to build Oracle Apecs application, I need us a lot of Pl/sql, are you familiar with this tool?
I also sometimes use "Postgres SQL",what I can say, Sql be in every place.

Unfortunately,  I have not used Oracle Apecs, although I have used so many different application/tools when worked in Oracle environment, such as SAS, Informatica, Business Object,  Tibco, Arbor, Maestro, Composite... It is almost an endless list. but guess what, as long you are strong in PL/SQL, you can easily work well in those area.

One recommendation for those who want to take my PL/SQL class: prepare ahead, bring you questions and problems to class, I will address your questions, and solve your problems. It will be much more fun, and you will learn much more.

身为Chris 老师 T-SQL的学生，我认为不管目前是否能听懂，直接来上课就对了，因为Chris老师的课有太多宝贝可以借用到未来您的实际工作中。这是十几年经验的累积。是我们所有学生的宝藏。
